Message from Towcester Neighbourhood Policing Team

Dear Patient,

This is a plea to ensure that when parking to use either the Towcester Medical Centre or the Brook Health Centre, you do not park within 10 metres of the entrance to the side road for the Ambulance Station.

There was a recent incident where an elderly lady was nearly struck by an Ambulance leaving the station on an emergency run as the junction was obstructed by parked vehicles. Staff at the Ambulance Station have contacted us to raise their concerns.

Please utilise any parking spaces available at the medical centres themselves or safe and legal on-street parking whilst not causing an obstruction.

This does not affect parking in our car park if spaces are available in the car park.  If we are full you may park locally - just make sure that you are not causing an obstruction.  There is a bus stop outside the surgery if you are struggling to attend the surgery due to parking.
